Who's Uncle B
Uncle B’s was started by Branden Moyer, a Berks County resident and entrepreneur during the global pandemic shutdown in 2020. During the shutdown, he made the interesting decision to learn a new hobby and one with purpose. Being exposed to beekeeping the year prior, he bought his first hive and package of honeybees. After a very successful first year, Branden decided he wanted to take his hobby to the next level, and create a business from his honeybees.
In 2021, he did just that calling his new honey business Uncle B’s Bees & even scored a deal with the most prestigious hotel in the city of Reading, the DoubleTree by Hilton. The hotel which has a 35,000 sq ft rooftop garden which sits multiple hives in the guests view from their room. Since then, Uncle B’s Bees and products can be found all over Berks County.
